The Masonic Laws by which the masons and lodges operate are constantly being adjusted to meet the current needs of the Fraternity. The proposed changes to be considered at the Grand Lodge Convocation in December, 2010 will be reviewed at a meeting of the Masters Wardens and Secretaries Association to be held at the
Once a year we come to the time in a year when Dues to Irving Lodge #1218 are due and payable. That time is here. Dues in Irving Lodge are $75.00 per year and are due by the last day of December for the ensuing year. In plain words, this means you need to pay your dues for the year 2011 by December 31, 2010. Again, we are receiving no money from the Endowed Memberships. Ordinarily, our 219 Endowed Memberships would pay about half of our yearly income. That loss puts Irving Lodge in a severe cash flow condition again this year. The Lodge is therefore asking each of the Endowed Members to please consider paying their regular dues of $75.00. Better yet, come to lodge and bring that payment with you. We’ll be happy to greet you and shake your hand, and give you a big “THANK YOU” for the $75.00.

Mark Twain: “Suppose you were an idiot. And suppose you were a member of Congress. But then I repeat myself.”
