Irving Masonic Lodge has been blessed this past month with no reported deaths of our members.

However, we have experienced 13 deaths since last July. We also have members who are very ill and need our prayers.

“Unto Thee, O God, do I lift up my soul.” (Psalm 25:1)
We dedicate this bulletin to families who suffer through the illness and death of their loved ones.
We pray for these extended family members of Irving Lodge. May God’s mercy and comfort abide in their hearts.

Most Worshipful James F. Brumit, Grand Master of Masons in Texas will make his Official Visit to the Lodges of the 14th Masonic Districts at a meal and reception on April 25, 2012. The meal is scheduled for 7:00 P.M. and will require the purchase of a ticket in advance for $15 or at the door
for $20. Payment can be made by check to: MWSA, P. O. Box 570469, Dallas, Tx. 75367. The Official Reception will be at 7:30.

Irving Lodge is pleased to announce the upcoming presentation of the Prestigious Masonic Award entitled the Golden Trowel Award. This award is a formal recognition of a Brother who has, year after year, quietly, but actively demonstrates his devotions to the teachings of Masonry without thought of recognition or special honors.

The members of Irving Lodge have elected Brother Max L. Perry for this award.

The presentation will be made in Irving Lodge at 6:30 P.M. on Saturday, April 21, 2012 at a covered dish dinner called for this purpose. The Lodge will provide the meat, drinks, and bread. All others are asked to bring a salad, vegetable or dessert. This will be an open meeting for all the family and friends of Brother Perry and all the families and friends of Masonry.

The Lodge Officers and Past Masters and their Ladies will join in sharing a meal and an evening of fellowship on Thursday, April 26, 2012 at 6:30 P.M. at East Buffet at 4023 W. Airport Freeway in
Irving. It’s Dutch Treat and is an evening of fun and fellowship.
