We dedicate this bulletin to the memory of our Brothers as we record their Passing in our Lodge of Sorrow.

FAMILY NIGHT HONORING WIDOWS & FUNERAL COMMITTEE

Our Masonic Widows and our Funeral Committee will be honored at the September 21 Family Night covered dish dinner at 6:30 PM.  Brother Phillip Gardner will provide entertainment.

FRESH PAINT ON THE WALLS

Irving’s C.J. Range Memorial Hall got a fresh coat of paint Saturday morning August 17th.  Brothers and family members worked their brushes and rollers to beautify the Lodge.  Two columns and some walls got blue accents.  Come see how nice it looks.  Worshipful Master David Gisler gives his thanks to all those who came.

LAUGHING MATTERS

My young grandson called the other day to wish me Happy Birthday.  He asked me how old I was, and I told him, 80.  My grandson was quiet for a moment, and then he asked, “Did you start at 1?”

One of the better ways to get back on your feet is to miss a few car payments.

A grandmother was telling her little granddaughter what her own childhood was like.  “We used to skate outside on a pond.  I had a swing made from a tire in our front yard.  We rode our pony.  We picked wild raspberries in the woods.”  The little girl was wide-eyed, taking this all in.  At last she said, “I sure wish I’d gotten to know you sooner!”
