IN MEMORIAM

Brother Anthony (Tony) Terlisner was born in Benton Harbor, MI on June 30th 1941.  Brother Terlisner was Initiated into Freemasonry on October 18th, 1971.  He passed to the degree of Fellowcraft on February 14th 1972.  On November 13th1972 Tony was made a Master Mason at Peninsular Lodge No. 10 in Michigan.  Tony affiliated with Irving Masonic Lodge later making Irving his parent Lodge.  Brother Terlisner served as Worthy Patron of the Order of the Eastern Star.  He was taken on the wings of the Death Angel to the Celestial Lodge Above on the 28th day of December, 2014.

We dedicate this bulletin to the memory of Brother Tony Terlisner.  Our prayers are for peace and consolation for his family.

DUES PAYING

Annual Dues are a necessary evil.  Irving Lodge annual dues remain $100.00.  Lodge dues are payable in advance.  This means that your year 2015 dues should be paid by December 31, 2014.  But if you haven’t paid those dues yet, not to worry, but do it now.  Better than mailing your dues in, bring the dues to Lodge at Stated Meeting or almost any Monday Night.  We look forward to seeing you in the lodge meetings during this coming year.  If you would prefer to spend 49 cents to mail your dues, send it to:
Irving Masonic Lodge — PO Box 170397, Irving, TX 75017

FRUIT BASKET RESULTS

A big thanks and congratulations to all that helped pack and deliver our fruit baskets.  We unloaded the fruit and had 102 baskets packed in less than an hour.  Your support for this program is sincerely appreciated by the Lodge and more especially our Masonic widows.  Thank you to Linda Murden who put together the out of town gifts and got them mailed.  There were 60 out of town gifts mailed.  Support for our widows is a basic fundamental of Masonry and we together have done a good job of fulfilling that obligation.

SWEETHEART RAFFLE

By the time you receive this bulletin your sweetheart raffle tickets should have been delivered to your mailbox.  We have a ladies diamond dinner ring, a ladies fashion ring and a dozen red roses for prizes.  Our drawing will be on February 7th at our lodge Sweethearts Dinner.  The Shady Grove Ramblers will set the right tone with romantic music.  The Lodge will provide the meat, bread, and drinks. All others are asked to bring a salad, vegetable, or dessert.

All proceeds go to the support of Masonic charities especially our scholarship program.  If you are willing to buy or sell more tickets see Brother Secretary or Treasurer for additional tickets.  Thanks for supporting our charities.

FAMILY PANCAKE AND SAUSAGE BREAKFAST

It is a New Year and we are having our annual Family Pancake and Sausage Breakfast on Saturday, January 24th from 8:00am - 10:30am at the Lodge.  We are asking $5.00 per person and $10.00 per couple or family.  The Past Masters will be our chefs and servers.   Come and enjoy some food and fellowship!
