50, 60, 65 YEAR MASONIC SERVICE AWARDS — Irving Lodge is pleased to solicit your attendance at the Annual Presentation of the 50, 60 and 65 Year Masonic Service Awards on November 21ST at a covered dish dinner at 6:30 P.M.
These presentations will be made for members who have served our gentle fraternity for half a century or more.

Receiving the 65 Year Award are Brothers Phillip D. Baker, Guy H. Hudson, and Orban M. McCoy.

For the 60 Year Award Charles M. Caster, Carl H. McCutcheon, Troy L. Rice and James C. Sills, III.

These brethren are joined by the following 50 Year Members: Jesse D. Beard, Larry R. Bellah, Vaughn Sidney Heard, Donald E. Hines, Marlin Marshall, Jr., H. Douglas McHam, William M. Phillips, and Thomas D. Spink.

The dinner and ceremonies are open to all our families, friends and neighbors. We invite the whole group to attend and join in congratulating the Honorees and wishing them the best in the years to come.

ANNUAL DUES — Another year is coming to an end and that means another year is about to begin. Irving Lodge voted to increase the amount of our annual dues to $125.00. Lodge dues are payable in advance. This means that your year 2016 dues of $125.00 should be paid by December 31, 2015. We look forward to seeing you in the lodge meetings during this coming year.

WORKER BEES — Worker Bees and any other Brother who wants to be a Worker Bee: Nov. 14th we will clean the lodge.  The carpeting upstairs and downstairs needs vacuuming, the bathrooms need cleaned and mopped, the kitchen floor needs sweeping and mopped.  Dust wherever needed.  Those of us that want to eat breakfast together will meet at PJ’s at 8am.
We meet at the lodge at 9am to clean. We can usually get the job done in less than 2 hours if we all pitch in.

PILL BOTTLE CHANGE — We are doing great with regard to the collection of empty pill bottles.  One change would be helpful.  Please bring only empty Prescription bottles (the orange ones are the best).  Remember to try and remove any labels with your personal information.  Please don't bring any of the large bottles like the vitamin or over the counter "drug" bottles.  Thanks.  We have made three trips to the Scottish Rite Hospital in the last two weeks with large bags of empty bottles.

THE BAD BELT — Q: Why did the belt get locked up?
A: He held up a pair of pants.
